Instructor: Philip Salamone (@philipsalamone)
July 20 - 22
9am - 4pm (lunch 12 - 1)
Cost: $350
This workshop, aimed at people looking for a foundation in representational drawing, gives students the tools to build and strengthen their observational skills in order to make drawings that are convincing and true to life. Using a step-by-step process, participants will discover a number of principles to help see, interpret, and express the world around them. Demonstrations, slideshows, and personalized critiques guide students through each stage of the process. This workshop will be a good introduction for students without much experience, but it also has a lot to offer for experienced artists who are looking to strengthen their observational and drawing skills. All ages, including teens, are welcome to join.
Class size is limited to 12 students.
