This one-day workshop is designed for people with some familiarity with oil painting, and looking for an approach to making lifelike, realistic works. Working from a live model, and using a clear, step-by-step approach, we will cover laying out the linear drawing, capturing a likeness, values as they are informed by light and form, edge manipulation, color as it is influenced by form, and basic structural anatomy. Demonstrations and individualized feedback guide you through the process of drawing and then painting from a live model from start to finish.
