Study the human body and hone your observational skills in this long-pose figure drawing course. Working from life using graphite, we will practice figure drawing skills like measuring and abstracting forms, triangulation, and combining knowledge of anatomy and proportion with direct observation. We will develop our drawings step by step, from simple, straight lines and angles to accurate three-dimensional, organic figures, based on a discussion of the dynamics of light on form. Artists of any level, including beginners, are welcome!
Class size is limited to 12 students.
