This 6 week course will equip students with different mental frameworks for appraising their work and jolting it to life with energy and punch! Classes are open to all experience levels and the course is beginner friendly. Several different fundamentals of drawing will be explored with an eye toward creating strong, and fluid gestures, energetic shapes, readable forms, interesting exaggerations and more! A great primer for students wanting to begin an exploration of illustration, character design, animation or comics. Great for students who’d like to take their skills built drawing from reference and learn to apply them to drawing from imagination. The last 2 sessions of the class will be making character sketches from a live clothed model. Model fees and supplies are included in the course fee.

Although materials are included in the course fee, students are welcome to bring their own supplies. Here is a list of the supplies that will be available to students.

Class size is limited to 12 students.

Cancellations must be emailed to atwoodatelier@gmail.com at least 1 week prior to the first session to receive full credit (valid for 12 months) for a future class OR a refund to the credit card used minus a 15% fee.
