Instructor: Katie Hogan (@katie.hogan.art)

9:30am - 4:30pm (with 1 hour lunch break)
Cost: $120 (includes model fees)
A successful portrait begins with a solid understanding of the underlying anatomical structures. In this workshop, attendees will learn about the structure of the skull, facial muscles and forms of the facial features. Through a combination of lecture, studies, and drawing from a model, students will leave with greater knowledge of how these key underlying structures inform the likeness and rendering of a portrait. Some familiarity with drawing the portrait is helpful, but not required.
Class size is limited to 12 students.
