Spending time drawing or painting isn’t necessarily enough to improve in the most efficient manner. With a clear understanding of visual phenomena, of nature, and of our craft, the hours that we spend behind the easel can result in knowing what to look for, and in better habit-forming in general, resulting in the most effective use of that time.

The premium membership is designed for anyone looking for a solid foundation in representational drawing and painting. It includes unlimited drawing sessions with the live models, regular personalized feedback from Philip, and a space in the studio to work on a cast drawing or still life painting.

Premium members have full access to all four weekly figure drawing and painting sessions with the live models, both long and short pose, which include light instruction during the sessions. Premium membership also includes one hour-long meeting with Philip every two weeks for an in-depth look at the student's work, progress, goals, and to asess various exercises given depending on each student’s specific needs. Additionally, students will have 24 hour access to the studio to work on projects specifically designed for each student’s individual needs, with a focus on drawing and painting from the antique plaster cast, as well as still life painting. 

The cost for premium membership is $250/month, with a 3 month minimum commitment.
